Make Stansbury a City
PROPOSED MAP BOUNDARIES
Updated November 29, 2023
The revised proposed boundaries for an incorporated Stansbury Park are below (Exhibit A). Please note the following items:
-
The area inside of the yellow lines is the proposed boundaries.
-
The area inside of the red lines indicates parcels where discussions were had with property owners to be included within the boundaries but those property owners requested that their parcels be excluded at this time and possibly be added after the feasibility study results are released or to be annexed into Stansbury Park after incorporation. Some of these parcels, according to the Municipal Incorporation State Code, could have been included within the boundary map, but in order to gain favor with those property owners in future additions and annexation talks, their requests were honored.
-
After discussions with multiple large private property owners to the north of Stansbury Park and east of SR-36, they requested not to be included in the feasibility study boundaries. The parcel owners may choose to be included in the boundary map after the feasibility study results are released or they may choose to annex into Stansbury Park after incorporation.
-
It is highly probable that the large parcel owners will want to be added to the boundaries after the feasibility study results come out or be annexed in after incorporation as their plans for development are closer aligned to the current make-up of Stansbury Park than to Lake Point and Erda's current zoning and master plans.
